This is a classic stone Tuscan farmhouse that dates back to the XIX century: it has been fully and authentically restored, using local materials such as pietra serena and chestnut wood. The location of the property offers magnificent views of the Tuscan hills and to the front of the Tyrrhenian coast stretching as far as “Corsica Island". The sun drenched olive groves, the smell of the wild time and herbs in the summer, the clusters of wild flowers in the spring, the clear unpolluted air, the silence make this little corner of Tuscany unique. The farmhouse Le Ligoracce gices you the chance to naturally experience country life style in a totally immersive way, among genuine sounds and fragrances.

There are two independent holiday apartments available, each with a private outdoor space for sunbathing or eating “al fresco”.
Pets are welcome at Ligoracce, but please let us now in advance if you wish to bring them too.
A minimum of one night is required for renting.
"Libeccio" : BEDS 2
This studio apartment opens on to a porch and a stunning view of the Tyrrhenian coast and Lake St Luce. It is bright and roomy with its own private bathroom, a double bed and shower and is ideal for a couple wanting to spend time in the unspoilt Tuscan countryside.
"Grecale": BEDS 4+1
The apartment is bright, with a beautiful view on the hills covered with mediterranean woods and garden area for sunbathing or cool summer evening suppers under the hazelnut trees. It offers accommodation for 4 people with a well equipped kitchen area, an independent bathroom with a shower and a private parking area.

Walk for miles along ancient tracks and stop to take in the breathtaking scenes that open up in front of you.
Bring your mountain bike if you are the sporty type, or enjoy new free roads among the fields on your motorbike, visit and enjoy birdwatching in the WWF protected natural area of the Lake of S. Luce.
Walk to the local Buddhist Centre of Pomaia and share the spiritual peace of the place for a few hours, or go to the local markets and rediscover what food used to taste like.
Bees, horses and wild nature
Choose your favourite way to live the countryside: help with the “smielatura”, the collection of honey and try some of the scented honey for breakfast; watch our horses being groomed and prepared for a ride; discover wild orchids in the field around the farmhouse; watch the red sun set from your porch sipping a glass of wine; take up painting.
Or simply watch the huge sky at night and myriads of stars and constellations.

Nestled within the “ Golfo di Baratti “ lays the necropoli etrusca of Populonia, today part of the interesting “Parco Archeologico e Naturalistico.”
Seaside and Beaches
Over 20% of the Costa degli Etruschi comprises parks, protected areas, nature oases, and fauna reserves.
Nature is not just a setting, but the very essence of this land with its dense stands of pine trees, woods and countryside rich with colours and scents; a temperate climate throughout the year, with particularly mild springs, long summers and infrequent rainfall during autumn/winter, makes for enjoyable holidays all year round. |

In order to book an apartment we require an advance payment of 25% of the total amount. The advance payment must be made by bank transfer or Paypal.
The full payment is due four weeks before the stay.

HOW TO EASILY REACH LIGORACCE FARMHOUSE
• Exit the A12 at ROSIGNANO MARITTIMO
• Follow signs for SS1 and merge into SS1, direction Grosseto-Roma
• Take exit VADA
• Take the Via Emilia SS 206 direction PISA
• After about 5 km look at your right the road signal to POMAIA, SP60/Strada Provinciale Poggiberna
• Continue to follow SP60 to POMAIA (7.5 km)
• Once in POMAIA go to the right following the road signal to CASTELLINA MARITTIMA, SP13
• After about 3 km you will see to your right a white buddist monument, just after the monument (roughly 50 m) you will see to your left a stone house and a small road, take this road, you will find a chain across the road (private road),just stop and remove it (it is not locked), enter, close the chain and continue following the track, after 1 km of white road you will find the farmhouse.
