La Vieille Fromagerie Luxury Gite Complex is located on the edge of the
picturesque and historic village of Brux with excellent local amenities including
shop, bar/restaurant, museum and 11th Century church.
Our 3 luxury gites with heated swimming pool and children's playarea are set in
3.5 acres of beautiful, rural France in the heart of sunny Poitou-Charente. There
is an on-site restaurant which is open three evenings each week. Tranquil and
peaceful yet close to many outstanding attractions, activities and to major
transport links.

Each gite has a large open plan living space downstairs with a fully fitted and
equipped kitchen, dining and lounge areas which include dishwasher, washing
machine and satellite TV. They all have private patio areas with furniture and
BBQ. Free WiFi is available in the gites.
Gite 1 - La Vieille Laiterie:
This gite accommodates up to 4 with a family bedroom which has a double bed and
set of bunk beds for children and a luxury bathroom.
Gite 2 - La Petite Fromagerie:
This gite sleeps up to 4 with one double en-suite bedroom and one twin en-suite
bedroom.
Gite 3 - La Vieille Écurie:
This gite accommodates up to 5 and a cot with one double en-suite bedroom and
one twin en-suite bedroom. An additional single bed can be put in the twin room
and also a cot in the double room if required.
All bedrooms, bathrooms and en-suites are finished and furnished to the highest
standard. They feature original beams, chestnut floors and exposed stone walls.
The bedrooms in La Vieille Ecurie and La Petite Fromagerie can accommodate a
child's cot if required.

All guests have shared use of the 10 x 5m heated swimming pool which is fenced
and alarmed and the 3.5 acres of garden and grounds, including a children’s play
area. The swimming pool area has an ample supply of sun loungers and parasols.
Your holiday prices include bed linen, towels (for use in the gite) and a
welcome hamper to ease your arrival.
Babysitting and child-minding services are available by arrangement.

Attractions Our unspoilt rural location is perfect for walking, cycling, birdwatching and
relaxing. Nearby attractions include Futuroscope and La Vallee des Singes (Primate
Sanctuary). Poitiers, Cognac, Angouleme, Limoges and the coast are all within easy
reach. Bicycle hire for all the family is available locally. |
