The Rural House Masia Los Pasos is a 19th century farming house completely rebuilt and restored with materials from that time to maintain the original structure.
The Rural house has two floors, both with central heating. On the ground floor, the old porch of the house, is the 70 m2 living-room organized in two levels where different environments and fine details like a fireplace and confortable sofas and armchairs are combined.
On the ground floor the ancient stable and the pen form the combined kitchen and dining-room. It still preserves the manger and the old stone walls. On one side the dining-room with a big table and a fireplace is located, and on the other side the full equiped kitchen from where you can get to the garden. On the same floor there is a bathroom and the washing and ironing room, with access to the barbecue.
You can get to the first floor over the stairs build with old tiles from the area, it has a handrail made with the old balconies from Almagro. It has five bedrooms and three complete bathrooms distributed on different levels that respect the original structure of the house.
The furniture is over a century old, and is almost completely restored. All the elements of decoration are cared of to assure a confortable and cosy environment
The 700 m2 garden is completely adapted to the natural environment of the mountain landscape; with carefully arranged vegetation and a natural cypress fence. It has a swimming pool, barbecue, arabic oven and an area for leisure and playing petanque.

Attractions The Rural House Los Pasos is located in BIAR, a picturesque village at the inlands of the province of Alicante. Due to its priviledged location on the foothills of the Sierra de La Fontanella, Biar offers endless and varied options for the nature lover.
Biar is a special place. Its islamic history has given it a unique personality that is present in all of its acts: it is a hardworking village that also has many festivities. Due to this it has a lot of festivities and traditions that are celebrated all over the year (Moros y Cristianos, Setembre y Cólera...) and also different and varied products (nougat candy, dolls, ceramics...). With all this it shows us its rich andalusi legacy.
The Rural Cottage, far away of the hubbub, but still part of the town has amazing views on the sierra from the garden preserving by that the familiar intimacy and garanteeing the rest. The Sierra de Mariola shows the spectacular landscape of the Meditarranean woods (pinetrees on the hills and almond and olive trees in the valleys) furthermore it the biggest reservation in Europe for aromatic plants(lavender, sage, rosemary and thyme). A symphony of colours and smells. A enjoyment for the senses.
The climate is mild in winter and summer, the temperatures are mild with cool and pleasant nights.

For reservations it will be necessary to pay 40% of the total price of the stay in advance at the moment of reservation as a deposit by bank transfer. The rest will be payed on check in plus a deposit of 200 Euros as a deposit if you are over 25 years old (if you are younger check the quantity), which will be returned on check out when the are no damages. |
