Casa Chrisanda is located at Jardim de Bensafrim, which is a small collection of houses situated in the countryside just off the Lagos to Bensafrim road, about twelve minutes drive north of the town of Lagos. Lagos boasts a fine marina and several beaches, including the magnificent Meia Praia and the pretty Praia Dona Ana, together with a full range of supermarkets, smaller shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Casa Chrisanda is a delightful, modern, single storey, house set in an enclosed landscaped garden with lawn and flower borders and a drive with ample space for parking several vehicles. The pool is approximately 8m x 4m, 1 – 2 metres in depth and surrounded by terrace where there is also an outside pool shower. A charcoal barbeque is tucked away on one side of the house and there is plenty of dining and lounging furniture for outside use.The modern kitchen is medium sized and is fully fitted with a full electric oven/cooker, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, fridge and freezer, kettle, toaster, iron and board. The lounge/dining room is furnished with three sofas and a dining table to seat six: satellite TV (limited channels) and DVD/video player. A CD player and radio are also provided for entertainment. There are three bedrooms, one double and two twin bedded rooms, all furnished with wardrobes, drawers, bedside tables and lamps and all having fans. The double room has an en suite bathroom (bath with shower over) and there is a further, separate, full bathroom (bath with shower over). A car is essential as Jardim de Bensafrim is a quiet countryside location. However, it is only a few minutes drive to all the amenities of Lagos: the choice of activities and places to visit and explore in this area is exceptional and it makes a good base from which to explore the more remote areas of the Western Algarve.
